Where The Wild Things Were

The Wild Things were at Cielo Vista
Unlike most people I have never read this book, at least not that I remember. My 14 year old niece recalls it very fondly. My sister wanted to take the kids and usually she can't drag me along with her, but the previews looked very good so I went. I think my sister and I enjoyed it more than the 6 and 5 year old with us. We saw this at Cielo Vista so for us and a few other people, that's where the wild things were, at least that day.

  1. I didn't read it until I read it to my own kids a few years ago. I don't plan on ever seeing the movie. The "book" takes only a few minutes to read and there's no way a movie could be made from it without an enormous amount of padding. Neither of my kids want to see it, either.

On the other hand, both of my kids have read that "Meatballs" book at school and want to see the movie, even though they say that the movie changes the original story.

  2. My nephews went to go see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. That's one of those movies I opted out of.
