This shot is for Shorty since her Mall Church photo was on my mind. This is San Fernando Cathedral, located downtown about 6 or 7 blocks from us at the library. I pass it coming and going to work and I always enjoy looking at it. This morning I decided to loop around to try and find a good distant shot. We'll venture in sometime soon. Many events are held here and it is beautifully lighted during the holiday season.
churches have very beautiful architecture and this one is very imporessive indeed!

ReplyDeleteHey! Just wanted to let you know that I stumbled across your blog, and I like it very much. I even did a post about it at my blog here http://strangesanantonio.blogspot.com/ (hope you don't mind). Those are some great pictures, and they show off San Antonio quite well.
ReplyDeleteNice view and nice shot! I´ve taken a few shots of churches (they´re a basic pillar of Stockholm scenary) and whatever you say in most cases they´re beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOh, btw, I laughed pretty much over your photo of cloudy skies. What different worlds we live in... =)
Wow Sarah, this is lovely. I like the way you have framed it with the tree here. Take the caps off the towers and it reminds me a little bit of Notre Dame.

It is lovely, isn't it? Thanks everyone for stopping by. Thanks for the plug Albatross. Alex, I'm loving the rain we get weekly now. It's so much nicer than the dry August we had!
