Torch of Friendship

In this pic you can see the Torch of Friendship made for the City of San Antonio by the sculptor Sebastian. It's very red is it not? Also you can see one of our trolleys—you can get about in the downtown area on four routes.

  1. That's a very cool torch! It really stands out with that bright red color. I like it :)

  2. I really like it. There is often debate about whether it is nice/pretty/appropriate art or not. Sebastian recently gave our library a "baby torch" and it is sitting temporarily in our lobby until a suitable home is found.

  3. I love the sculpture. It is supposed to show the complex relationship between the US and Mexico. I have a shot of it from atop the Tower of Americas I will have to dig up.
