Enter at your own risk!

While strolling along the Riverwalk near the library we came upon this entry way (or exit depending on if your coming or going). I really liked the design, it reminded me of something you would see in a castle. I'm not sure where these stairs go, so we can all just use our imaginations and make up our own opinions about where they lead to. Possible time warp??

  1. Oh I think I've seen this spot. I might even have a pic of it. But i like the lighting, you really made it seem spooky—with a dark atmosphere. :D

  4. There are several stone entrances like this on the riverwalk. This one is up from the library (away from the touristy area).

What you can't see is the plaque stating that the riverwalk was initially a WPA (Works Progress Administration) project in the early 1940s.

  6. Lovely picture -nice tones and composition. I like the geometric contrast of arch, curved wall and steps as well as the light/shadow mix.
