This is a Mexican restaurant on the west side of San Antonio. It's owned by the same family as Henry's Puffy tacos. I like Ray's better. Their chicken puffy taco's are almost as good as the chicken tacos my sister makes at home. We tried to go here one time for my birthday but they were closed. Who knew!
Ray's is the best. Not only do they have great food and delicious lemonade, but they have a wonderful art collection and cool antiques too.
ReplyDeleteThe Best! I'm livin' in LA now, but born and raised in SA, and I always try to make it to Ray's when i go home for a few days. His brother, Arturo, has a Puffy Taco place here in Whittier. I've been there a few times, but pales in comparison to Ray's.
ReplyDeleteRays is the best. I absolutely love the chicken puffy tacos and the sweet lemonade. I would eat there everyday if I could. I believe they are closed on Mondays. Dangit I think I want to go right now. My husband would like to add that he is always up for their Mexican Plate. Ray's here we come!
ReplyDeleteWe love the puffy tacos & the lemonade from Ray's. There is no comparison anywhere. I have tried puffy tacos everywhere else including when I've travelled & no one makes them even close. Unless you have tried Ray's puffy tacos, you do not know what they should taste like. We go eat there at least once a month. Kim, Mike & kids-
