The Birds!

picture 316

When we leave the library and go south on Main, we pass the artpace gallery and I just love the place. Currently, this is the exhibit and I haven't gone in so I don't know any information about the artist or work. But I think it's pretty cool looking.

  1. the birds, the birds! *hehehe* I saw the title of the post and thought of the movie. Great shot. I do love the way they have them strung up. I read a book one time that had a scene that would have probably looked like this if it could have been brought to life. EGGscellent. /me wondering how I could do this at home.

  3. This is Kate Terrell. I made the birds along with a dozen Jefferson Highschool students. The idea was born from visiting their school and seeing the overwhelming amount of students. The birds are all together flying in one direction, but each unique in style, size, and gesture.

  6. I wanted to take the time to thank you for posting on this site. I grew up an hour south of SA, and lived in SA for 8 years. I moved to Idaho almost 2 years ago. I LOVE looking at your photos - it makes me feel like I am home! Keep up the great work!
