On the way back from grabbing lunch at Bill Miller's today I had to take a pic of the building. It's an apartment/condo complex called Left Bank Condominiums—because of it's situation to the River Walk. I like the way the flowers just flow over the balconeys. It reminds me a bit of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, just not as pretty I'm sure. :D
I also had to include the below picture, just because I haven't a Home Depot antennae ball before.
The apartments are nice but so expensive on the river! Especially along this area I have heard.
ReplyDeleteOh, and if Mark sees that HD antennae ball, he will want one also!
I would love to live there! The hanging gardens are so pretty, not to mention a view of the riverwalk.
ReplyDeleteThe hanging gardens are very nice way to make apartments look nice. LOL about the antenna ball - I thought it was a large sign until I read on!
ReplyDeleteShould it still be referred to as a ball, being that it is actually a square?
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen these yet. Funny.
ReplyDeleteWow! Neat.

ReplyDeleteThiên: I'll see if I can commandeer a ball for Mark from you know who—I figure I deserve something for putting up with Vermin. And you are right the apartments are expensive. Like with most downtown real estate you pay about $1 per square foot.
ReplyDeleteSarita: I'm sure it would be nice to live there, especially with the River Walk as your backyard.
Felicia: I hadn't realized it looked like that til I read your comment and went back to look. At first glance without a frame of reference it does indeed look like a big ass sign.
Soñita: I say we christen it an "antenna thingie" to cover all contingencies.
