Slice o' the Sky
This is one of the library's 3rd floor terraces. I really liked how the dark areas took a slice of the brilliantantly blue and cloudy sky. The steeple is the church next to the hospital which is right across the library.
I chose between this one and one very similar to this one that had a single red balloon floating by, but I like the contrast between the dark and the color here.
I had never been on any of the terraces either. It was nice, very breezy at some points, with all the craft supplies flying everywhere.
You know what? I don't think I've ever been on the 3rd floor terrace? Cool pic...love the steeple in the background.

nice description - I like how it "slices" the brilliant blue as well - very articulately spoken =)
ReplyDeleteThis modern view reminds me of a view in Chaco Canyon, designed to catch the summer solstice (I think). Nicely done!!
