Fiesta Tower Again!

Hopefully the last of the Fiesta Tower pictures! Gives you a perspective of where the tower sits, and how traffic has to awkwardly drive around it. On the right, you can see bright umbrellas of the touristy side of the riverwalk (pics coming soon!), which is below street level. Hmmm...not too many large skyscrapers in down town San Antonio.

  1. Wow, that's a riviting red! Just makes your photo zing with sparkle. We used to listen to a musical radio show from River Walk. It's nice to see how it meanders through town as deliniated by the trees. -Kim

  2. Agree with Kim...that's a very imposing red! You wouldn't miss it if your life depends on it! :)

  4. Kala...how did you guess? Public librarians often have their own private helicopters. (insert fits of laughter)

This photo was taken from the Tower of Americas, a huge tower (taller than the Space Needle in Seattle!) built for the '68 Worlds Fair. I need to try for a good pic of that too.
